Auteur Film Series Screens "Beasts of the Southern Wild"
Jan. 30, 2014 - Collin College’s Auteur Film Series will screen “Beasts of the Southern
Wild” at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 13 at the Preston Ridge Campus Conference Center,
9700 Wade Boulevard, in Frisco. The free screening, part of this year’s “Abandoned
by Reason: Six Great Fantasy Films” theme, tells the story of Hushpuppy and her ailing,
irascible father who live in an isolated community in south Louisiana. As a storm

Jan. 24, 2014 - Patrons can saddle up at sunset for the exciting “Stetson and Stiletto
Standoff” fundraiser at Collin College on Sat., Feb. 22 at 6:30 p.m. inside the college’s

New Google Maps App Helps Students Find Classrooms

Dec. 4, 2013 - “A Merry Jewish Christmas” by Josh Levine, a new, non-traditional holiday
show, will make its regional premier Dec. 5-15 at the Collin College Spring Creek
Campus Black Box Theatre. A comedy, the play explores the wondrous and complicated
