Jan.  30, 2014 - Collin College’s Auteur Film Series will screen “Beasts of the Southern Wild” at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 13 at the Preston Ridge Campus Conference Center, 9700 Wade Boulevard, in Frisco. The free screening, part of this year’s “Abandoned by Reason: Six Great Fantasy Films” theme, tells the story of Hushpuppy and her ailing, irascible father who live in an isolated community in south Louisiana.
