Collin College Opens Applications For Board Of Trustees Vacancy

July 14, 2014 – The Collin College Board of Trustees is seeking applications to fill a board vacancy for Place 7. The opportunity became available with the recent retirement of founding Trustee Tino Trujillo.

The selected individual will be appointed to serve the remainder of Trujillo's term, which ends in 2015. Place 7 would then be up for election in May of 2015 for a six-year term. Trustees can serve an unlimited number of elected terms.

To be eligible for consideration, the candidate must be a citizen of the United States, at least 18 years old, a qualified voter and a resident of Collin County for six continuous months and the state of Texas for 12 continuous months prior to the date the appointment is made. The selected candidate must be willing to commit to reside in Collin County for the duration of their appointment and be available to attend monthly meetings.
