Collin College Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month

September 23, 2014 – Collin College invites students and the Collin County community to participate and celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month events during the month of October. All events are free and open to the public.

Events include:

Hispanic Heritage Month celebration
Readings, music and refreshments
1 – 2:30 p.m.
Tuesday, Oct. 7
Spring Creek Campus Atrium (2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway in Plano)

Salsa/Merengue dancing lessons and competition
Noon – 1 p.m.
Wednesday, Oct. 8
Spring Creek Campus Atrium (2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway in Plano)

Poster displays across campuses
Commemorating influential Hispanic figures
Monday, Oct. 6 – Friday, Oct. 10.
