Passport to the World: "The Riviera Maya - Myths Dispelled and Mystique Revealed"
October 29, 2014 – Collin College invites the public to attend the a Passport to the World series discussion from noon – 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 12 in the Living Legends Conference Center Section AB at the Spring Creek Campus, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway, Plano. Communications professor Whitney Pisani will present a lecture entitled "The Riviera Maya - Myths Dispelled and Mystique Revealed" in which she will provide an inside look into the ancient and modern people of the Riviera Maya. Collin College Names Interim President
October 28, 2014 – The Collin College Board of Trustees appointed Dr. Colleen Altaffer Smith as the interim district president following the resignation of long-time CEO Cary A. Israel. Dr. Smith is a seasoned higher education professional with more than 30 years in teaching and administration. She has served as the college's district senior vice president of academic affairs and student development since 2010 and previously served as president of Cisco College. Collin College Continuing Education Hosts Free Fiber Optics Tech Training Info Session
October 21, 2014 – Collin College Continuing Education will host an information session for those interested in learning about career opportunities and training in Fiber Optics. The information session will be held from 10 -11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 1 at the Courtyard Center, 4800 Preston Park Blvd. in Plano.
