Spring Concerts Close Out Collin College Music Series

April 28, 2015 – The Collin Department of Music will close out its Spring 2015 program with events through the first two weeks of May. Performances range from jazz vocals to symphonic string and wind instrument concerts.

A keyboard ensemble concert is planned for 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 29 in the John Anthony Theatre.

A symphonic wind and string ensemble concert will be presented at the theater, beginning at 7 p.m., Thursday, April 30.

A chamber singers concert is set for 8 p.m., Saturday, May 2 in the John Anthony Theatre.

The Spring Creek Legends Conference Center will host a new music ensemble concert at 6 p.m., Tuesday, May 5. That will be followed by a solo guitar concert beginning at 7:30 p.m. in conference center rooms D-E.

A commercial music showcase is planned for 8 p.m., Thursday, May 7 in SCC Room B187.

The series will wrap up with a spring jazz concert beginning at 7:30 p.m., Saturday May 9 in the John Anthony Theatre.
