Collin Theatre Center Releases Fall Schedule

September 11, 2015 – The Collin College Theatre Center has revealed its theatrical lineup for the fall 2015 semester.
24-Hour Play Festival
Saturday, Sept. 12
Black Box Theatre
Students in the theatre program will unite to create six brand new show plays written, directed, rehearsed, and performed in just 24 hours. Conceived and produced by Professor Robin Armstrong.

The Heidi Chronicles
October 8-18
John Anthony Theatre
Theatre Professor Gail Cronauer will direct this award-winning play by Wendy Wasserstein. The work examines the progress of a generation, from the socially and politically activist sixties to the success-oriented eighties—a time during which the status of American women underwent profound change.

December 3-13
Black Box Theatre
Set on Broadway in the 1950s, a mega-influential critic dies while reviewing a particularly awful work. The producer, director, and writer hatch a plan to conceal the critic's death and garner a glowing review. Professor Brad Baker will direct this new comedy by Jeff Swearingen.
