COLLIN COLLEGE HOLDS NOVEMBER MUSIC CONCERTS

October 26, 2015 – Collin College is hosting seven free music concerts for the  month of November.

Two classical guitarists will perform music from the Renaissance to the twentieth century at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 10 at the John Anthony Theatre.

Jazz performers under the direction music professor Kevin McNerney will perform at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 13 at the John Anthony Theatre.

The Wind Symphony and String Ensemble students will perform everything from Baroque to contemporary music at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 17 at the John Anthony Theatre.

The Keyboard Ensemble, under the direction of Dr. Brian Allison, will perform along with the Harp Ensemble at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 18 at the John Anthony Theatre.

The One O' Clock and Six O' Clock guitar ensembles will feature music in duo, trio and large ensemble formations at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 18 at the John Anthony Theatre.

A pop group will perform original arrangements and covers at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 21 at the John Anthony Theatre.

The Collin College music department will present a concert of scenes from popular operas at 8 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 23 at the John Anthony Theatre.
