Creative Writing Poetry Series Shines Spotlight on Collin Poets
CREATIVE WRITING POETRY SERIES SHINES SPOTLIGHT ON COLLIN POETS
October 28, 2015 – The Creative Writing Poetry Series is celebrating Collin College faculty poets from 1 – 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 10 a the Spring Creek Campus Living Legends Center in Plano.
The series will present recognize the literary achievements of Collin College professors and authors, Scott Yarborough (A Sort of Adam Infant Dropped: True Myths), Jomar Isip (Pocketing Feathers), Dallie Clark (Pink) and Joan Reese (Night Chorus) through a reading from 1 – 2 p.m..
There will also be writing workshops led by the faculty from 2:30 – 4 p.m. and an open mike for students from 4 – 5 p.m.
