Free Culinary Orientations at Collin College

Jan. 8, 2016 – Do you want to explore a career in the culinary or pastry arts field? Try these non-credit courses at Collin College’s Preston Ridge Campus, located at 9700 Wade Boulevard in Frisco. First, attend one of the mandatory culinary/pastry orientation sessions to be eligible to register for concurrent non-credit culinary courses through Continuing Education.

Culinary/Pastry orientation sessions will be held at the Preston Ridge Campus, Culinary Institute, Alumni Hall 150. Orientation sessions are free and open to the public.

  • 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 12
  • 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 12

The first four courses in the program are:

  • Sanitation and Safety
  • Basic Food Preparation
  • Nutrition and Menu Planning
  • Advanced Food Preparation
