PASSPORT TO THE WORLD EXPLORES PROVENCE, FRANCE
Passport To The World Explores Provence, France
Feb. 17, 2016 – Explore the lavender fields and Roman ruins of Provence, France with Collin College’s latest Passport to the World presentation, noon-1 p.m., Wednesday, March 2 at the college’s Spring Creek Campus Living Legends Conference Center, Section D.
Join Professor Ryan Fletcher for an intriguing look at the south of France. In the summer of 2015, Fletcher traveled to Provence, a region full of quaint villages, beautiful sights and amazing architecture, all nestled between Paris and the Mediterranean Sea. Every village offers something new … and tasty. Come see how the beauty of Provence inspired many artists, like Van Gogh, Matisse and Renoir.
Passport to the World is a free event series led by Collin College faculty and staff members who have traveled to a variety of global locations and share their newly-acquired knowledge about different cultures, art forms, architecture, music, religions, political systems and more.
