Collin College Hosts North Texas Printmaking Guild

Collin College Hosts North Texas Printmaking GuildAug. 8, 2016 – THE ARTS gallery will host The North Texas Printmakers Guild: An Exhibition of Texas Prints, a collection of prints created by artists based in the North Texas region, organized by curator and Collin College art professor Carter Scaggs, from Aug. 22-Sept. 8.

The North Texas Printmaker’s Guild works to increase exposure for the print arts through collaborations, discourse, gallery exhibitions, demonstrations and guild-driven exchanges. This show will include pieces created through a variety of processes by 15 different artists, including Scaggs.

The gallery will hold a reception for the show from 4-7 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 1. The gallery is located on Collin College’s Spring Creek Campus, Room A175, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway in Plano. Regular gallery hours are: 9 a.m.-8 p.m., Monday-Thursday; 9 a.m-3 p.m., Friday-Saturday.
