New Barnes & Noble Bookstores on Collin College Campuses

Aug. 9, 2016 – Barnes & Noble has landed at Collin College. The new bookstores are open at Collin College campuses in Plano, Frisco and McKinney. The bookstores offer new and used textbooks, guaranteed right books at the right time, support and guidance, a spirit shop and much more. In addition, students will still be able to use financial aid at the bookstores.

“At Collin College, students are the top priority,” said Dr. Brenda Kihl, Collin College executive vice president. “We are excited to partner with Barnes & Noble College to provide new, student-centered bookstores at all of our campuses. Now, Collin College students will have access to an expansive variety of traditional and digital books at affordable pricing with Barnes & Noble College’s price-matching program.”

In addition to managing the bookstores, Barnes & Noble College has created and is managing Collin College’s online bookstore website (, which delivers a customized shopping experience and provides students, faculty, alumni and the community the option to shop in-store or online.
