Collin College Creates Hotline for ITT Students

Sept. 8, 2016 – Students wondering what to do following the closure of ITT Technical Institute can now call a special hotline at Collin College for help. ITT students can call 972.377.1088 to speak to a college representative about next steps.

Collin College welcomes local displaced ITT students and is making special arrangements to streamline admissions, advising and financial aid applications. Although the fall semester is already in session, enrollment is still open for classes that start later in the semester. The college has posted a list of these classes at along with helpful information for the transition.  Applications are open for Wintermester, which begins December 12, and students can also apply to attend in spring, summer or fall of 2017.

Collin College serves nearly 52,000 credit and continuing education students annually and offers more than 100 degrees and certificates. The only public college in the county, Collin College is a partner to business, government and industry, providing customized training and work force development. In addition, the college operates the Collin Higher Education Center, which serves 3,300 additional students each year in partnership with The University of Texas at Dallas, Texas Woman’s University, Texas A&M Commerce, Texas Tech and the University of North Texas.
