Collin College Dignity Initiative Screens "Half the Sky"

Nov. 1, 2016 Free and open to the public, Collin College’s Dignity Initiative will screen the film “Half the Sky,” in Plano, Frisco and McKinney. Experience 10 countries, countless stories of oppression and one call to change during the film screening and panel discussion.

The film will be shown at the following times and locations:

  • 6 – 8:30 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 15 in the Spring Creek Campus Living Legends Conference Center, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway in Plano
  • 6 – 8:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 17 in the Preston Ridge Campus Conference Center, Section E, at the Preston Ridge Campus conference center, section E, 9700 Wade Boulevard in Frisco
  • 6 – 8:30 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 29 in the Central Park Campus Conference Center, 2200 W. University Drive in McKinney

Doors open 30 minutes before each screening. All showings will be followed by a discussion about the film and the topic of global oppression of women.
