Collin College Film Series Screens Silver Linings Playbook

March 1, 2017 - Collin College’s Auteur Film Series will feature a screening of the film “Silver Linings Playbook” at 7 p.m., Tuesday, March 14 at Collin College’s Preston Ridge Campus Conference Center, 9700 Wade Blvd. in Frisco.

As part of the 2016-17 series “Dear Movie Lover,” the film deals with the role of letter-writing. Showcasing the talents of Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence, Robert De Niro and Jacki Weaver, the film follows two people struggling with mental illness who make a unique bargain.

All film screenings in the series are free and open to the public. Doors open 30 minutes before the film begins, and seating is limited. Some material may not be suitable for all audiences.
