Collin College Hosts Photography Exhibition: Cultural Sanctimony

Cultural Sanctimony (A Student Photography Exhibition)June 5, 2017 – THE ARTS gallery will present Cultural Sanctimony, photographic works by Collin College students under the direction of photographer and Collin College art professor Byrd Williams, from June 19-July 21. The exhibition is free and open to the public.

The exhibition addresses a range of topics and demonstrates several photographic processes in an installation that engages, confronts and challenges the viewer. Artists include Daniel Eubank, Moriah Garcia, Lee Laird, Wayne Maynard, Freddie Meagher, Michaela Million, Natalie Small, Hector Tellez and Miaojian Zheng.

A public reception is planned from 4-7 p.m., Thursday, June 29.

The gallery is located on Collin College's Spring Creek Campus, Room A175, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway in Plano. Regular gallery hours are: 9 a.m.-8 p.m., Monday-Thursday; 9 a.m-3 p.m., Friday-Saturday.
