Learn about Health Science Careers at Information Expo

Sept. 7, 2017 – Considering a career in health care? Find your future at the 2017 Health Science and Public Safety Career Information Expo from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 21 at Collin College’s Central Park Campus Conference Center.

Program directors from all of Collin College’s health science and public safety programs will be on hand to answer questions about their fields. Learn the benefits and challenges associated with each field. Talk with career counselors to help identify a career that works for you.

“Finding the right career is about more than choosing a subject that interests you,” expo organizer Pam Love-White said. “The Health Science and Public Safety Career Information Expo helps students learn about job tasks and learn about the demands of the field, so that when they make a career choice it is the right one.”

The expo will include program overviews by the program directors, resource tables for each program, academic advising and career guidance. Anyone considering a career in health care or public safety is welcome to attend.

The expo is free and open to the public. Collin College’s Central Park Campus Conference Center is located at 2200 W. University Drive in McKinney.
