Cancelling a Trip
Situations, such as bad weather or personal emergencies, can cause an employee to cancel their trip. It is the employee’s responsibility to make these cancellations and receive refunds and /or credits for any advanced travel purchases. The trip must be cancelled in CougarTravel!
- To cancel a Trip:
- Log into CougarTravel
- Pull-up the Travel Request
- Click on Cancel Request
Regardless if they were purchased on the employee’s P-Card, through the travel agency, or on personal credit card
- Things to cancel:
- Registration -- Need to receive credit for registration fee.
- Flight -- Depending on airline may receive full credit for flight or unused ticket to be used on future business travel.
- Hotel -- Need to have reservation cancel so Collin College is not charged.
