Welcome to AHA ECC Courses Community / Workforce Training   Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support

 

We are glad to be on this learning journey with you at Collin College's American Heart Association (AHA) emergency cardiovascular care (ECC) courses! Our dedicated instructors are here to guide you through CPR skills training, offering flexible hybrid and traditional classroom formats. Safety is paramount, and we ensure sanitized equipment, in a clean safe environment and provide personal protective gear for your peace of mind.

 

Choose Your AHA Training format:

 

1. Hybrid Courses:

- Part 1: Complete the online portion at your pace over 4-6 days. No travel to campus until the last day.

- Part 2: Attend an on-campus skills evaluation (30-45 mins).

- 2-year certification e-card sent to student after completion.

 

2. Live Classroom Format:

- Basic Life Support & Heartsaver certification courses (5-7 hours).

- Advanced certification courses may span two days (up to 16 hours).

- 2-year certification e-card sent to student after completion.

♥ CPR for Family and Friends – Annual CPR community-wide training event in February as part of AHA's Go Red for Women and Heart Health awareness campaign. Live format only, non-certified. Also available for purchase to groups needing CPR refresher or basic skills.
