Community

Give CPR and save a life. You could be the difference for your parent, spouse, child or friend. Did you know about 70 percent of out-of-hospital cardiac arrests happen in homes? If you are called on to give CPR in an emergency, you will most likely be trying to save the life of someone you love. The benefits of performing CPR can double or triple the chance of survival. Don’t wait for someone else to step up. Learn and do CPR. You might even save someone close to you. Choose from any of the above programs.

Workforce / Organizations / Businesses

In today's workplace, diversity is the norm, with five distinct generations contributing their unique perspectives and experiences. As Time Magazine highlighted in 2023, Traditionalists, Baby Boomers, Gen X, Millennials, and Gen Z all collaborate side by side. With such diversity, it's crucial to ensure everyone's safety and well-being. In the event of a cardiac emergency at work, knowing how to respond quickly and effectively could be the difference between life and death for a coworker.

The CDC says, “heart disease is the leading cause of death in the United States”. At Collin College, we understand the importance of being prepared for emergencies in the workplace. That's why we offer comprehensive group and organizational training in CPR and AED use. Our expert instructors will equip your team with the skills and confidence needed to act decisively in critical situations. Don't leave safety to chance. Choose from any of the above programs.

Email us at AHA-ECCTraining@collin.edu to discuss your group or organizational training needs today. Let us help you create a safer and more prepared workplace environment for everyone.
