Login Assistance

To log in to and use CougarWeb, you must supply a valid username and password and be using a recent version of a standard Internet browser. If you are having trouble logging in to the system, use the links below to determine possible solutions.

Students have reported difficulties logging into CougarWeb since a system upgrade. If you are having issues, please refer to the information below or call the 24-hour Student Support Center at 972.377.1777. Have a great semester!

Common Issues

Username and Password Details

For New Students:
New students are issued a username and password for CougarWeb as well as a CougarMail address and campus wide identification number at the completion of admission.

If you do not have your username and password, take a picture ID to the Admissions and Records Office at a campus near you or e-mail admissions@collin.edu. Requests should be generated from the email address on the student's Collin College application or from the email address on file with Collin's Admissions and Records office. The request should also include the student's full legal name and date of birth.

For Returning Students:
Students who accessed CougarWeb prior to December 17th 2014 will need to use the last six digits of their CWID. Once logged into, you can set your security questions in the Luminis My Account Portlet.

For staff and faculty only:

Cougarmail and Blackboard

If you have configured CougarMail on another device or Blackboard in the mobile, you will also need to update your password.
