Modern GIS is about participation, sharing, and collaboration. Discover how today's GIS technologies are allowing business and communities to use location data to answer questions, solve problems and communicate information.
The Collin College GIS program is available 100% online, allowing you to accomplish a degree in the windows of time that you have available.
Starting this Fall 2020 semester, all GIS courses taught at Collin College will use Esri's industry-leading software: ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online. While students are enrolled in Collin's GIS courses, they receive a complimentary license of ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online.

Our GIS Advisory Committee is comprised of North Texas GIS professionals working in private and public sectors throughout the area. The GIS program is reviewed twice a year by the committee to ensure that students completing our program have learned the necessary GIS skills to be prepared for the workplace.
