Radium Girls

It’s the 1920s and new, exciting radioactive products are everywhere, their dangers not yet fully understood. But young women factory workers in New Jersey are learning the horrifying consequences of painting fashionable watch dials with radium, as it begins to take a shocking toll on their bodies. While scientists, corporate executives, and social activists slowly become aware of the truth, the women struggle for their lives and for justice – but their time is running out. Based on historic, true events.
