New Student Orientation Registration
New Student Orientation gets you prepared to be successful at Collin College!
As a Freshman or a First Time In College student, completing New Student Orientation is one of the steps you need to complete before you register for courses. There is no charge for students to complete New Student Orientation.
STEP 1: MANDATORY ORIENTATION ONLINE
Freshman or a First Time In College students must complete Online Orientation prior
to registering for courses. Click here, and you will be prompted to log in to CougarWeb. Under the Student tab, click "Mandatory Training and Hold Information," click "Mandatory Orientation Online," then click"Welcome to Collin College Online Orientation."
STEP 2: REGISTRATION PLUS
Once you have completed the Online Orientation you will be able to attend a Registration
Plus session that includes TSI testing and placement, advising and registration, learning
about campus resources, and taking a campus tour. Advance registration is required
to attend. Registration Plus is not a come-and-go event. Walk-ins to a Registration
Plus session are accepted as time and space allows.
ALL EVENTS HAVE OCCURRED IN PREPERATION FOR FALL 2022.
Summer/Fall Schedule of Registration Plus sessions will be hosted in June and July.
The last event occurred on July 15, 2022.
Winter/Spring sessions will be posted in October.

Extended Orientation: C.A.T. Camp (Cougars Achieve Together)
If you have completed Orientation and registered for courses, take the next step to
prepare you for your educational journey at Collin College with C.A.T. Camp.
This FREE, interactive session will provide new students with some in-depth resources,
tips, and tricks from current students, connections to campus, and help you feel a
part of the Collin College Community. This event is for new students at Collin College
who have already completed or participated in new student orientation!

Collin College has an amazing staff of professionals and students who plan, coordinate, and execute each New Student Orientation session.
