Set in a mysterious city filled with darkness, the film follows John Murdoch (Sewell) as he grapples with memory loss and unknown forces manipulating his very existence. This thought-provoking narrative aligns perfectly with this year’s Auteur Film Series theme of “Allegories of the Cave,” showcasing works that explore the human confusion between shadows and reality.

The Auteur Film Series presents classic, foreign, and independent films with brief educational introductions before the screenings and faculty-led panel discussions afterward. The film series is designed to challenge the viewer’s intellect and encourage conversations that engage students in civil discourse.

The films will all be shown at 7 p.m. Doors open 30 minutes before each film begins, and seating is limited.
