PSB Spring 2017 Information Sheet


All available PSB exam dates for the May 31st application deadline (Fall 2018 entry) have been RESERVED.  No more seats will be provided for this cohort.

PSB exam dates for the August 31st application deadline (Spring 2019 entry) will be released the first week of June 2018.

How to schedule: The cost for the PSB exam is $45.00 and can be paid online. Please use the above link to schedule/ pay for the PSB test. A limited number of seats are available for each testing time, so make your reservation as soon as possible. Please plan ahead!

If for some reason you are unable to test on the scheduled date, and need to reschedule or otherwise make a change to your date and/or time, you will forfeit your original testing fee and will be charged an additional $45.00 in order to make another appointment – if space is available. There will be no exceptions to this policy.

Results: Results will be available immediately after your examination session is over.  Make sure to ask for your test results.

Testing: Report directly to room A202 in the main building at the Central Park Campus in McKinney. We do not offer the PSB exam at any other location.  Please arrive at least 20 minutes before the test begins and verify your name on the roster. If your name is not listed, immediately call the Nursing Office. After you verify your name is on the roster, please wait in the second floor atrium area until testing time. There will be NO WALK-INS and NO WAITLIST for the PSB exam.

On Testing Day: Bring a photo ID (a drivers license, or a school ID, or other official identification). No ID = no test, and you will forfeit your testing fee. The test lasts approximately 3 hours. Late arrivals will not be permitted to test. There will be NO EXCEPTIONS to this policy. If you miss your start time, you must reschedule – if space is still available -- and you will be charged an additional $45.00.

How Often: Plan ahead! The PSB exam may be taken three times a year: once Summer, once for Fall entry, and once for Spring entry. Scores are valid for 12 months.  You may test each application cycle.

Reading the Test Results

Look at the chart on your test results. On the left hand side is the Percentile (%) and read across starting from (AA) Academic Aptitude through (VAI) Vocational Adjustment Index.
