Supporting Collin College students is the main focus of the Collin College Foundation.
Thanks to the support of our donors, we strive to ensure that deserving students can
pursue their dreams of higher education.
The Collin College Foundation awards over 350 scholarships annually! Scholarships are usually based upon a combination of academic ability and financial need, and some scholarships have specific criteria, including those related to academic major, community service and leadership.
For the first time, the Collin College Foundation will accept applications between Oct. 1 and midnight of Oct. 30 for a Spring 2015 disbursement cycle.
More details about the Fall 2015/Spring 2016 cycle will be available at a later date.
In order to be eligible to apply, students must have an assigned Collin College student ID (CWID), a cougarmail email and a GPA of 2.0 or higher.
Please be prepared to provide essays, email contact for individuals providing letters of recommendation, or other documents that may be required. These documents must be uploaded to your online application prior to the scholarship opportunity deadline. The application will state if letters of recommendation, essays, etc. are required for a particular scholarship.

New Students to Collin College: You will need to complete a Collin College admissions application and be accepted
as a Collin College student prior to applying for a scholarship. This process may
be lengthy; therefore, we suggest you start as soon as possible. For more information,
Notification: For the Spring 2015 cycle, students who are offered a scholarship award will be notified through their Collin College email account on or before Nov. 18. All recipients will be REQUIRED to attend a reception on Nov. 19 at the Central Park Campus in McKinney. Continue to check your email for updates about your scholarship application.
