Study Rooms

The campus libraries listed below offer study rooms on a first-come, first-served basis with no advance reservations. Note: The Farmersville and Technical Campus libraries do not have study rooms.

Celina Campus, Brenda Willard Goodell Library

• Collin College students with a Collin College Student ID who are enrolled during the current semester may check out study rooms.
• Four study rooms are available for checkout.
• Three rooms accommodate up to four students. One room can sit five.
• No food allowed, and drinks must be in closed containers.

Frisco Campus (Preston Ridge) Library

• Collin College students with a Collin College Student ID enrolled during the current semester may check out study rooms at the Checkout Desk.
• Study rooms check out for two hours with one renewal, subject to availability. Fines and fees may apply.
• 19 study rooms are available for checkout.
• 12 of the study rooms seat up to two students, and seven seat up to six students.
• All rooms include whiteboards. Markers and eraser provided at checkout.
• No food allowed, and drinks must be in closed containers.

McKinney Campus (Central Park) Library

• Collin College students with a Collin College Student ID who are enrolled during the current semester may check out study rooms.
• Study rooms check out at the Checkout Desk.
• The checkout period is two hours. Overdue fines and fees may apply.
• Subject to availability, one renewal is permitted. There are no renewals during peak usage.
• Rooms left unattended for over 15 minutes are forfeited.
• No food or drinks are allowed, except for bottled water.
• An ACCESS study room with assistive technology is available only for students who are registered with the ACCESS office. Room accommodates up to six people.
• There are 12 study rooms with glassboards, markers and erasers. Rooms accommodate from one to six people depending on room size.

Plano Campus (Spring Creek) Library

• Collin College students with a Collin College Student ID who are enrolled during the current semester may check out study rooms.
• Rooms check out at the Checkout Desk on the first floor.
• The 26 study rooms are located on the second floor.
• The checkout period is two hours. Overdue fines and fees apply.
• One renewal is permitted if all rooms are not full. Limitations may be imposed during peak usage.
• Most study rooms can accommodate up to six students with one room that can accommodate up to eight.
• All rooms include whiteboards.
• Whiteboard markers and erasers are available for checkout at the Checkout Desk.
• No food or open drink containers are allowed.
• Study rooms are not available to be checked out in between semesters when classes are not being held.

Wylie Campus Library

• Collin College students with a valid Collin College Student ID who are enrolled during the current semester may check out study rooms at the Circulation Desk.
• Study rooms check out for two hours with one renewal, subject to availability. Fines and fees may apply.
• 17 study rooms are available for checkout. They fit between 2-5 students.
• Do not move furniture in or out of study rooms.
• No food allowed, and drinks must be in closed containers.
• Rooms left unattended for over 15 minutes are forfeited.
• Study rooms are not available to be checked out in between semesters when classes are not being held.
