CAREER COUNSELING and ASSESSMENT TOOLS

To make an appointment to take an assessment and/or schedule an interpretation of the findings, students are requested to email career@collin.edu and indicate their name, contact information, home campus, and the service(s) they are requesting.

    • MyPlan (Orientation is strongly suggested prior to taking this assessment.  
    • MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator).  The MBTI is an introspective self-report assessment designed to indicate psychological preferences in how people perceive the world and make decisions.
    • Strong Interest Inventory (CPP).  The Strong Interest Inventory (Strong) assessment measures career and leisure interests.
    • Strengths Quest. Strengths Quest is a unique program that helps students and educators discover and develop their strengths for greater academic, career and personal success. For information on and/or to register for Strengths Quest workshops at Collin College, students are instructed to go to www.orgsync.com, click on EVENTS and scroll down to the event.
