Activity Care Professional Program

Activity Care Professional (ACP) Universal Integrated Healthcare Role

In the coming years, more and more people will be turning 65 or older. Our, first in the nation program, combines the training you would receive in a Certified Nursing Assistant program with Activity Professional specialized instruction designed to help special populations like older adults live longer, healthier, and happier lives. This unique career path will remain in demand for years to come. Get started today!  

Students who graduate from Collin College's Activity Care Professional Program will have a greater likelihood of long-term success in the fastest growing, highest demand sector for tomorrow’s health care professionals.

Students may pursue academic awards (AAS or a Level 1 Certificate).  Awards are stackable, so students may choose to start with a Level 1 Certificate and continue toward their AAS.  (**Please note: The Activity Care Professional program, currently offered at the Farmersville Campus beginning Fall 2021 semester.  Classes include a combination of web-based (online ) coursework and some blended [hybrid] as well as experiential clinical site work.
