HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning)

HVAC

Are you wanting to break into a trade that will allow you to work with your hands and provide a good living without being closed into an office all day? Perhaps you are already familiar with HVAC, but need the qualifications to be recognized as a professional? At Collin, you will find the kind of training that you are looking for under an industry professional who will provide the real world experience that you need.

Our Mission

The mission of Collin's HVAC Program is to train HVAC professionals to work safely and responsibly within Environmental Protection Agency guidelines and standards that apply to the HVAC industry, and the open doors of opportunity in the HVAC industry by equipping candidates with the knowledge and skills that put them in high demand.

The Program

Collin is entering into the second year of the HVAC program, but the program is led by Prof. Brian Sanders who has many years of experience in HVAC and HVAC instruction.

The HVAC courses are college credit courses. This makes them eligible for Financial Aid, military benefits, as well as the Texas Work Force Commission programs.

The HVAC courses are strategically laid out in a pattern that builds your skills and knowledge that are required to start the next set of classes. All students must take all the courses for those 8 week offerings in order to progress to the next 8 week set of classes.
