Verification - includes sections on selection of applicants, exclusions from verification, notification methods, information to be verified, acceptable documentation, deadlines, updating FAFSA information, correcting errors on the FAFSA, and subsequent ISIR transactions.
Resolving ISIR Comments - (C Flags) - includes sections on Department of Homeland Security (DHS) issues, Selective Service issues, default, over-payments, exceeding loan limits and fraudulently obtained funds issues, Social Security issues, Unusual Enrollment History (UEH), drug convictions (FAFSA Question 23), veteran for financial aid purposes, bankruptcy, and discharged loans.
Special Circumstances - includes sections on income reductions, dependency overrides, students without parental
support, and referral of fraud cases.
