Collin College recently received the gold-level status of the 2023 Veterans Education Excellence Recognition Award (VEERA) from the Texas Veterans Commission. This is the third time the college has received the award (2021, 2022, 2023).
The award recognizes institutions that provide excellence in education and related services to veteran students and promotes best practices by awarding gold-, silver- and bronze-level status to those offering these services.
“It is a privilege to receive this award for the third consecutive year from the Texas Veterans Commission,” said Dr. Abe Johnson, senior vice president of campus operations. “The college is committed to working with student veterans and providing them with excellent education and the services they need to reach their goals.”
