National Student Clearinghouse
Collin College authorizes the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) to provide verification of enrollment status and degrees earned. This round the clock web-enabled service allows employment agencies, lending institutions, and other agencies to verify enrollment and degrees by following this link: www.studentclearinghouse.org. We are listed in NSC's database as Collin County Community College, School Code 23614.
Things to consider with NSC verifications:
- Each semester, enrollment information is uploaded to the NSC database approximately one week after the census date and then again monthly until the semester ends.
- Graduation information is uploaded to the NSC database approximately one month after the end of the semester in which the program of study was awarded.
- If you have set your student record as Private and opted not to release your directory information, which includes your dates of attendance and degrees or certificates earned, your information cannot be given by NSC to any unauthorized individuals without your written authorization.
Non-Standard Verification Requests
If you are an international student with no social security number, or you have a special verification form that needs to be filled out, these enrollment verifications cannot be completed by NSC and you will instead need to submit the request through the Registrar's Office. Complete the Student Request for Verification of Enrollment Form and either email it to Registrar@collin.edu or drop it off at any campus Student and Enrollment Services Office.
Official verifications of enrollment cannot be processed until after the census date of semester/class. Please allow 2 to 3 business days after the census date to process your request.
