Accreditation

The Collin College Police Department (CCPD) is proud to be an accredited agency through the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators (IACLEA). This accreditation reflects CCPD’s commitment to the highest professional standards in campus law enforcement and its dedication to protecting the students, faculty, staff, and visitors of Collin College.

IACLEA accreditation is awarded to agencies that meet 227 rigorous standards focused on public safety, risk reduction, and operational efficiency. As an accredited department, CCPD follows best practices to ensure transparency, accountability, and excellence in campus safety. IACLEA accreditation enhances accountability, promotes best practices in training and operations, supports continuous improvement, and helps reduce risk and liability through established standards.
