CompTIA is an international, vendor-neutral certification recognized by major hardware and software vendors, distributors, and resellers. Collin College is a CompTIA Authorized Academy, which means our certified instructors teach the approved curriculum that prepares students for the certification exams.

This certificate series covers three of the most useful and sought after CompTIA certifications.

CompTIA A+ validates knowledge to perform hardware and software installation, configuration, problem diagnosis, and preventative maintenance.

CompTIA Network+ covers a broad range of topics in crucial areas of computer networking.

Important Information

Registration fees for these exam preparation courses includes the cost of textbooks, lab access and exam voucher.

Requirements:

Certificates are awarded upon successful completion of the required courses. The Registrar's office requires a minimum of 90% attendance for each class to be transcribed.

Upon successful completion of all courses, contact CECertificate@collin.edu to request your certificate. Please allow up to four (4) weeks to receive your certificate.
