ITP students are encouraged to attend a handful of different Deaf events every semester, in order to gain additional outside experience in ASL and interpreting. View the Community Organizations and Resources page for a list of community organizations where you can gain ASL and interpreting experience outside of Collin College.
Please note that your ASL instructor may have specific requirements as far as attending events for course credit. Please consult with your instructor and review your syllabus for specific course requirements before attending an event.
