Interested in growing healthcare field with no direct contact with patients? Do you like electronics and hands on work?

Biomedical Equipment Technology program offers all of this! Biomedical Equipment Technicians install, repair and maintain the equipment used in modern hospitals, clinics, and medical facilities. The need for these highly-skilled technicians continues to grow and expand as technology becomes inseparable from modern patient care.

Program Options

With a two-year Biomedical Equipment Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree, you can get a job with hospitals, healthcare organizations, third party organizations, and medical device manufacturers and distributors. This is the best investment on your education with under $7,000 in total cost of the program, job growth of 17%, and average salary of $53, 400*. *Data for Collin County obtained from JobsEQ and O*Net. Average salary for occupation as of 2108 and job growth projected from 2019-2026.
