Five Collin College Athletes Named to Conference All-Academic Team

April 25, 2022 — Five Collin College student athletes have been named to the 2021-22 North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference (NTJCAC) All-Academic Team.

Collin College’s selections to the team were:

Men’s Tennis — Marcus Kleckner of Wichita Falls; Alec Dos Santos of Johannesburg, South Africa; and Edward Shteyn of Plano.
Women’s Tennis — Mimi Li of Denton; and Taylor Nichols of San Antonio.

Each honoree has completed at least three semesters of college work with a minimum of 36 hours of courses that lead to a degree while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 or greater. The student athletes participated in a least one season on the varsity level and lettered in tennis.

Collin College serves more than 56,000 credit and continuing education students annually and offers more than 100 degrees and certificates, including a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Bachelor of Applied Technology (BAT) in Cybersecurity, and a new Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) in Construction Management to be offered beginning fall 2022. The only public college based in Collin County, Collin College is a partner to business, government, and industry, providing customized training and workforce development.
