Technical Campus Open House, Spring 2023.

April 24, 2023 More than 1,300 visitors strolled the hallways and grounds of Collin College Technical Campus during its third annual open house, Saturday, April 15. Visitors of all ages walked the campus to learn about automotive, construction, healthcare, information technology, manufacturing, and many more high-demand workforce programs offered at the campus. The campus also showcased the academic areas of support with tours of science labs, demonstrations from history faculty, and training sessions of how to be a successful college student through resource utilization/planning.

In addition to the many program demonstrations across the campus, visitors eyes were drawn to the fast cars showcased in the parking lot; emergency helicopters landing on site; the health professions volunteer services, and of course, the robotic dog roaming throughout the buildings. As an added bonus, visitors had an opportunity to admire the campus award winning architectural design.

We had an amazing day of faculty and staff collaborating with potential students, families, and community members, said Technical Campus Provost Brenden Mesch. It was an amazing team effort with many of our industry partners coming out to support the event as well. I would encourage those that missed our open house to come by for a tour. We have weekly campus tours at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesdays.

Be sure to make plans to attend next years open house that is planned for April 13, 2024.
