Collin College’s Dignity Initiative will wrap up its annual series with two events in March and April. Both events are free and open to the public.

Healing from Sex Trafficking: The Work of Ranch Hands Rescue/Bob’s House of Hope
Speaker Presentation
March 12, 2:30-4 p.m.  
Frisco Campus Conference Center 
Andrea Jones from Ranch Hands Rescue/Bob’s House of Hope will speak about the organization. A sanctuary for animals and people recovering from trauma, the safe house and shelter is dedicated to special needs rescue animals and male survivors of sex trafficking. 
 
Creating Safe Spaces: Inside and Out Part II 
Panel Discussion
April 9, 3-4:30 p.m.
Plano Campus, L250
This interactive panel discussion will enable participants to create safe spaces for themselves and others. Participants will engage in discussions on different topics related to the theme. Topics will include creating and maintaining good boundaries, healthy ways to deal with trauma, what it means to be a good ally for others, and available resources at the college and the larger community. Collin counselors and faculty will facilitate the event.
