The Collin College Board of Trustees has voted to maintain its current low tuition rates for the upcoming Fall 2026 semester. The in-district tuition rate will stay at $67 per credit hour, remaining the lowest in the state.
Board Chair Jay Saad emphasized the importance of this decision, stating, “Collin College is committed to providing affordable and impactful education to our students. By keeping tuition rates low, we ensure that higher education remains accessible to all members of our community, regardless of their educational goals.”
District President Dr. Neil Matkin echoed this sentiment, highlighting the college’s dedication to offering exceptional educational opportunities without imposing financial burdens on students. “I am proud to work with a Board that prioritizes keeping college costs manageable. College degrees open many doors for our students, but they must be able to afford to complete their education. By maintaining low tuition rates, we are helping them achieve their goals.”
The Board’s commitment to affordable education is a testament to its belief in the transformative power of higher education and its role in helping to create a skilled and educated workforce in the Collin County community.
