The Collin College Academic Alliance can save students thousands of dollars!

 

Collin College, Texas State University, and The University of Texas at Dallas have joined forces to create the Collin College Academic Alliance. Located at the Collin College Technical Campus in Allen, the Academic Alliance will begin in Fall 2024. You can co-enroll at Collin College and a top-notch university, earn an associate degree, and seamlessly transfer to earn a bachelor’s degree.

 

Save Money! Taking many of your courses through Collin College will save you thousands of dollars in tuition.

Experience Convenience! You never have to leave Collin County to earn a bachelor’s degree from Texas State University or The University of Texas at Dallas. Advising is available online or at the Collin College Technical Campus.

Academic Alliance FAQs

Can I see a university advisor/enroll at a partner school at Collin College?


Yes, either online or with an advisor from the partner school who is stationed at the Technical Campus in Allen.

Will the bachelor’s degree be from the Academic Alliance school (TXST/UTD), or Collin College?


The bachelor’s degree will be from the university (TXST or UTD), but you will also earn an associate degree from Collin College at the same time.

Can I get financial aid if I am co-enrolled in two schools?


Yes, the credit hours will be combined to determine eligibility, and you will only have to apply for financial assistance with one school.

How much is the tuition?


The Collin College courses will be charged Collin College rates, and the university partner school courses will be charged at the university partner school tuition rates.

Where do I submit my transcripts and test scores?


Each institution must have official copies of all transcripts and test scores.
