Never Taken College Courses Before?

If this would be your first time taking college courses, you may want to check out the first-time student admissions process.

To start your application, visit Apply Texas, select application type Undergraduate (two-year), and choose Collin College from the list.

After Your Application

  • After submitting your application, you will receive an email with your CWID (student ID) and important next steps within 24-48 hours.
  • In the meantime, you can start collecting your required documents and preview next steps to keep up with your admissions process.

Transcripts

Transcripts from all previously attended institutions can be submitted through mail or electronically directly from the issuing institutions.

Bacterial Meningitis Vaccination

If you are younger than 22, you will need to submit proof of the bacterial meningitis vaccination at least 10 days prior to attending classes on campus.

Texas Success Initiative (TSI)

Unless exempt, you must take the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) Assessment to enroll in classes.

Once you receive your student account information, campus safety training will appear as a task in your Workday student portal under Awaiting Your Action.
