Overview
- Phase I focuses on the highest-priority projects needed to address near-term enrollment growth, workforce gaps, and aging learning spaces.
- These investments expand capacity in high-demand academic and workforce programs, modernize existing campuses, and position the college to meet the evolving needs of students, employers, and the communities it serves.
- While most Phase 1 projects are complete, the remaining projects are expected to be completed between 2026 and 2027.

Districtwide Safety and Security Enhancements
- Campus safety infrastructure and emergency preparedness across all locations
Courtyard Center Workforce Enhancements and Collin Higher Education Center Security Updates
- Modernize instructional spaces, student support services, and building systems while expanding cosmetology, medical massage therapy, and esthetician programs
In Progress Projects
The following remaining projects are expected to be completed between 2026 and 2027.
Plano Campus Renovation
- Modern, flexible learning spaces, expanded labs, additional healthcare programming, and enhanced student services
- Completion Date - September 2026
New Frisco Campus Health Sciences Building
- Construction of a new Health Sciences building to expand capacity in high-demand healthcare fields, including diagnostic medical sonography, radiologic technology, medical imaging, and other allied health professions
- Completion Date - January 2027

- Construction of a new workforce facility to expand training in welding, HVAC, advanced manufacturing, healthcare, and other high-demand skilled trades
- Completion Date - August 2027
