Bond 2026 funds Phase II of Destination 2030, focused on expanding access in the county's fastest-growing communities, increasing capacity in high-demand workforce and academic programs, and modernizing existing facilities.

Phase II Expansions, New Buildings and Programs
- Over the last 10 years, Collin College's credit enrollment has increased by 31% and continues to grow. This bond will allow for new facilities and expansions to accommodate growing enrollment.
- Several Collin College campuses lack the space to accommodate all students interested in Career and Technical Education (CTE) in high-demand fields, and general academic programs. By expanding the facilities, this bond addresses a growing workforce.
McKinney Campus Workforce Expansion
- The project includes expanded space for high-demand programs like Construction Management, Electrical, HVAC, Welding, Auto Technology, Healthcare Professions, IT, and Cybersecurity.
Wylie Campus Academic Expansion
- Since Fall 2021, the Wylie Campus has seen a 43% increase in enrollment and is Collin College’s fastest-growing campus. One-third of Wylie students are out of district.
- This project includes a new academic building with labs and classrooms to support more degree completers.
- The Wylie Campus does not have sufficient lab space to accommodate all students hoping to complete their associate degree in Wylie. Instead, they must travel across Collin County to a different campus, which could be as far as 30 miles each way.
- This expansion would allow students in that region of the county to start and finish at the Wylie Campus. It accommodates the growth in one of our fastest growing campuses.
Plano Courtyard Center Workforce Expansion
- Renovations to support programming in IT, Web Development, Cybersecurity and healthcare.
- Supports growing demand in both programs and fills a gap in this high density area.
Allen Technical Campus Workforce & Academic Expansion
- Technical Campus enrollment has grown by more than 1,100 students (56%) in the last five years.
- Expansion to the current Technical Campus in Allen through an additional Technical
Building
- Includes general classroom and labs to support academic completers.
- Provides additional space for the Automotive Technology, Diesel Technology and Automotive Specialties programs.
Celina Campus Workforce Expansion
- Celina Campus enrollment has grown by 700 students or 198% in the last five years.
- This CTE building will support high-demand fields in this area of the county, including Health Professions, Welding, Construction Management, and HVAC.
- The building would be designed to expand with future growth, with dedicated unfinished space for future build-out.
McKinney Aviation Academy
- Hanger, simulation, and classroom space.
- Programs: Aircraft mechanic, commercial airline pilot, avionics technology, and air traffic control.
- These high-demand programs help fuel the region’s aviation industry, which is facing substantive workforce gaps both locally and across the state.
- The bond would allow for the construction of an aviation academy to prepare students with the education and skills needed to support the aviation workforce locally, rather than leaving the region and state for training.

Actual costs, project scope, and implementation may vary due to inflation, market conditions, design development, regulatory requirements, and available funding. Depending on final bond proceeds and project costs, some projects or project components may be modified, deferred, phased, or not completed as originally described.
