The Mediation and Dispute Resolution courses provide education, training, and skill development for students interested in serving as a neutral third-party court-appointed mediator. Students will analyze various case studies and role play a mediation session. The Mediation and Dispute Resolution course meets the 40-hour requirement per Texas State Law Section 154.052. The course will also meet the Standards of the Texas Alternative Dispute Resolution Procedures Act (Texas ADR).
