Step 3: Pay for Classes

Full payment is due at the time of registration for all continuing education courses.  Accounts with outstanding balances are subject to courses being dropped for non-payment.
 

Payment Options

Collin College accepts cash, checks, MasterCard, VISA, or Discover payments.  Payments are not to exceed the amount of tuition and fee charges on the student's account.  American Express is not accepted.  Cash is accepted at any of our cashier windows but not by mail or when using drop boxes.  Cashier checks are accepted.

Pay Online

For your convenience, payment can be made online 24/7 via the secure payment suite, CougarPay, which is accessed through CougarWeb.  Payments can be made using credit card or web check.

Authorized Users & FERPA

Students may set up authorized users in CougarPay, the secure payment suite in CougarWeb.  Authorized users may make electronic payments using a credit card or web check on authorized student accounts for the tuition and fee charges on the account.  Please review the FERPA information below for more information.
 
FERPA
The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) affords eligible students certain privacy rights with respect to their education records.
 
Students who wish to grant access to family members or other designated individuals to view student account information and/or make payments on the student account should designate those individuals as authorized users in the secure payment portal.
  • Log into CougarWeb
  • Select "CougarPay" from the quicklinks
  • Designate individuals as authorized users
  • Authorized users will be provided with their own unique login information to access the student's account and make payments
