Scotty Morrison, MS, Associate Faculty
Scotty Morrison has been a police officer since 1997 and is currently serving as a North Texas Chief of Police. Over the course of an extensive police carrier, he served as a patrol officer, tactical team officer, criminal investigator, and diver. He has also held several command level positions, including: Patrol Supervisor, Criminal Investigations Supervisor, Tactical Team and Dive Team Commander, and Commander of Field Operations.
Scotty Morrison holds a Master Peace Officer license and Instructor license through the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement. Prior to joining the Criminal Justice adjunct faculty, he served as an Instructor at the Collin College Law Enforcement Academy. He holds a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice Leadership and Management from Sam Houston State University and is a graduate of the Bill Blackwood Law Enforcement Management Institute of Texas’ Leadership Command College.
