Member & Professor of Photography, Elizabeth Mellot, showcases beautiful, handmade Valentine Cards from the local chapter of Guild of Bookworker's.

Join Collin College’s faculty and staff for a week of immersion into the art of photography. During the camp students will explore the studio where they will each make a professional quality studio portrait. Students will also be photographing on campus with instructors, learning the basics of photography software, and making their own photographic prints. The cost of the camp is $150 and includes all supplies they will need, including a camera. Each student will also receive a camp t-shirt. The camp is open to 6-8th graders. Guest Speaker: Photographer, Harry Horenstein

Horenstein has published more than 30 books, including the classic textbooks: Black
and White Photography, Beyond Basic Photography,
Digital Photography and Make Better Pictures. His monographs include Racing Days, Animalia, Humans, Show and Close Relations. His most recent updated edition of Honky Tonk: Portraits of Country Music will feature in his lecture.
Horenstein, a professor of photography at Rhode Island School of Design, will discuss his life and work during the past 40 years, highlighting through images his early interest in history and how it has impacted his photography. A question-and-answer session will follow. The lecture is sponsored by the Photography Department at Collin College.
